Library Card & Loan Policies

** How do I get started using the library?
Just come in and we'll issue you a free library card.

** Do I need to renew my card?
No, your Clear Lake Public Library card is good as long as you clear any outstanding fines or bills each year.

** What materials can I borrow and take home with me?
Books, magazines, audio cassettes and compact discs, dvds and videocassettes, and music cds.

** How long can I borrow Clear Lake Public Library materials?
Books and magazine -- 3 weeks
Videos -- 3 weeks
DVDs -- 3 weeks
These loan periods will differ for materials you ask us to borrow from other libraries. In that case we follow the loan periods of the cooperating library.

** Can I renew the materials that I borrow?
You can renew items owned by Clear Lake Public Library either by phone, in person, or online at www.more.lib.wi.us providing there is no reserve on them. Please check with the library staff about renewing materials that we've borrowed for you from other libraries.
