June Summer Reading Schedule: June’s summer reading program includes stories and snacks. Each week we have a different theme. Wednesday, June 11th @ 6:30pm & Thursday, June 12th @ 10am Discover the Senses Wednesday, June 18th @ 6:30pm & Thursday, June 19th @ 10am Explore the Universe Wednesday, June 25th @ 6:30pm Underwater Adventure Thursday, June 26th @ 11am at the Elementary School In Capable Hands Juggling Duo “Buggy About Bugs” Summer Reading Program: Throughout the months of July & August, this year, we have a special summer reading program all geared around bugs and buggy things. The fun includes stories, crafts, and refreshments. A selection of books that are for sale for only 25 to 50 cents can be found on a shelf near the back of the library. Library Tours Your group is welcome to take a tour of the library. Call 715-263-2802 to set up the date and time. Friends of the Library If you can spare as little as an hour every other month, the "Friends" have opportunities for you! Our group is composed of people working full time, retired persons, couples, and individuals who just want to make a difference in their local community. Meetings are held every other month at the library, your time commitment is up to you. Some members help financially, with their dues, others also wish to participate in various activities. Annual membership dues are: * Family: $7.50 * Individual: $5.00 * Senior Citizen or Student: $3.50 Dues are payable at the library. Checks should be made out to: Friends of the Clear Lake Public Library. |
