Special Programs

Gaming afternoons are held the 1st Wednesday of each month from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Refreshments are served.

An After School Program is held on the 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. A different topic is explored each week. Topics are chosen by the students attending the programs. Each program begins with a Power Point presentation or a guest speaker followed by an activity and snacks.

Monday Movie Madness is held on the 4th Monday of each month at 3:30pm and again at 6:30pm. A new release movie rated G or PG is shown via projection on our meeting room wall and refreshments are served.

Library staff are available to help with homework at all of the above programs. A laptop computer is also available for students to use especially if our other computers are all in use. You can bring in your own flashdrive or we have one you can use temporarily. Black and white as well as color printers are available at the Library.

Friends of the Library
If you can spare as little as an hour every other month, the "Friends" have opportunities for you! Our group is composed of people working full time, retired persons, couples, and individuals who just want to make a difference in their local community.
